Bio

Thomas Nordlund is a guitarist, composer, and producer known for his lyrical approach and nuanced command of the instrument. Skope Magazine has described him as “a playing talent capable of fleshing out entire landscapes with only a few notes,” noting his ability to craft music that moves fluidly between intimate, poetic moments and expansive soundscapes.

In 2018, Nordlund released his second album as a bandleader and producer, Miles Left Behind. His debut record, Divide Avenue (2015), features an eight-song instrumental set centered on the electric baritone guitar and was released independently.

Throughout his career, Nordlund has collaborated with a wide range of artists, performing and recording alongside Sarah Morris, Brianna Kocka, Dave Mehling, Chris Bates, John Raymond, Maryam Yusefzadeh, Dead Man Winter, Kid Dakota, Moon and Pollution, Tim Sparks, the Jana Nyberg Group, and the Adam Meckler Orchestra.
